Rule Breaker
Hey there my shiny friends!
What a crazy Sunday Spandy had. I started off the day in Red Deer with a bit of an upset stomach from the wedding the night before and I ended it with 5 hours of grooving at English Bay.
After visiting Red Deer and seeing a lot of people from school, it gave me even more drive to follow my dreams in Vancouver. Everyone had the same old thing to say. Maybe they changed jobs or were on there 4th year of school, but nothing had really changed. Sears moved to the south end and the food court expanded to include a Korean place. Spandy realized he wants to make an impact in his life. I want to enjoy everyday and bring as many smiles to the world as possible! I’ve just begun my mission. I had lots of support from my home town and a few red necks I really want to prove myself too. I have to say how much my parents rock! They support Spandy 100% and even gave me a ride to the airport so I could catch an earlier flight and perform today.

Once I arrive it was straight to English Bay. I set up my signs at the entrance and as Will Smith would say, “got jiggy with it”. After an hour or so I had a nice supportive crowd. They were diggin my old school beats and we were all having a good time. Around 2 and a half hours in when my show was getting amazing Mr. Park Ranger had to show up. After telling me about 5 different rules I broke and how he gave a ticket out last week, I had to stop. Everyone started booing and yelling at Ranger, but there was nothing I could do. The ticket would be around $150 and i would still have to stop anyway. Here are some of the laws I broke;
1. No amplified music. (I can’t have a boombox)
2. No signage aloud. (After adding the signs my show was at a whole new level)
3. Obstructing the walk way. (A huge part of Spandy is interacting with people)
4. I can’t busk longer then 1 hour. (My show needs time to build a crowd)
5. Spandy’s way to dam cool. (Someone told me that
)
I’m not sure really what to do. After I packed up my stuff several people came up to me and told me this is bullshavic. (not the Russians) Even had some people saying how Canada isn’t a free country like it entitles. I think I am just going to continue doing what I’m doing. If I have enough support out there every time I perform. They can’t really do much. Everyone enjoys having a good time and if they don’t want to watch they can easily keep walking.
Thank you everyone for supporting Spandy and it is because of you I won’t quit!

I also want to thank the little girls that fed me all day. They gave me 3 granola bars, an orange, and a nice cold water. Also thanks to the dancer who gave me a wicked sequence head band. (Message me
I can’t find you lol)
