Today I was at my first ever baseball game! I went to help raise awareness for Ovarian Cancer Canada.
Ovarian cancer is the most serious of all gynecological cancers. Over 2500 Canadian women are diagnosed every year; and every year 1700 women succumb to this disease. Symptoms are varied, vague and easily missed. Visit: http://www.ovariancanada.org/ for more information.

It was really fun handing out hand cream and meeting everyone involved. I was there little celebrate helper and the kids seemed to really enjoy it. By the end of the day I was doing the worm on a little stage in front of the crowd.
One little tidbit I want to share as well:
I was dancing around and everyone was having a good time. Near the end of the game I went up in the stands and a couple obnoxious guys started saying, “Yo!, my friend wants to dance with you.” So I said, “Okay!”. Then they all started telling me they don’t dance when it’s two dudes and started mocking me. As this happened 3 cute girls walked up and asked for a photo with me. After the photo one hugged me right in front of the guys. I looked up at the 5 drunk guys and said, “That’s what I get for dancing.” with a big smile. The guys didn’t have a response. Thank you ladies for your support!
