Too bad I don’t have any red and white spandex for Canada’s birthday tomorrow. It’s okay though, we can celebrate all colors as usual.

The Roller Derby on Saturday was TIGHT!!

All the roller girls had their own nicknames and styles. It was a sport where you could express and be proud of your individuality. It was so much fun meeting all the girls and performing during half time.

I entered the arena in my newly designed tearaway robot gear. Then while dancing to my own custom music mix, I busted out SpandyAndy. I’ll let you know if a video surfaces.

Friday evening during my Michael Jackson tribute a mini Jackson showed up to enjoy the hits.

He was decked out in MJ gear and was so much fun!
I know Michael would have been smiling.

It feels like it was pretty recent since we lost the king of pop. Today is the one year anniversary of MJ’s death. In tribute to his amazing work and inspiring dance moves I will be performing a special show at English Bay at 5:00pm today.

This week has danced right past without me evening noticing. I’ve been constantly on the move. I’m still working at the grill, doing Grouse Grind every second morning and working on more BRIGHT ideas. You might have seen me zipping around on my scooter, Scoody.

I also completed another Spand-o-gram as a surprise in Gastown. All smiles and good times. Now I have to work on my routine for the Roller Derby halftime show I am putting on this Saturday!
