3 days of juicing. Doesn’t seem like that big of a deal, does it? But, let me tell you. Three days without food is pretty tough. Not extremely hard, but for someone who relies on 4-6 small meals a day, it was a weird habit to break.
I loved the change I felt my body gradually go through. Honestly, I felt cleansed in every sense of the word. Luckily, I don’t have a huge caffeine or sugar fix, so I didn’t suffer from any no-coffee headaches or sugar come downs.
I didn’t follow a specific plan for how I would consume the juices each day. Even though Glow Juicery offers some tips on their website and the meal plan you get when doing the cleanse, I just listened to my body and did what worked for me. I drank when I was hungry and actually didn’t finish all 6 drinks on the first day because I was full.
The thing about a juice cleanse is that you HAVE to remember to drink water at the same time. It does seem like you are just constantly consuming liquids (well duh, you are) but it is necessary to fill up that body with H2O!! We need that stuff to survive people.
If I could juice once a week I would. When we finish up in Rio I plan on juicing a couple times a month just to give my body a cleanse and detox. I honestly felt so good during and after that I want to reward my body with these nutrients all the time!
Thanks for the juice, Glow Juicery! We love you & your yummy creations!
