24 hours in Colombia

We were ‘lucky’ enough to get a random 24 hours in Colombia, and although our time was limited to our hotel, I am so glad we got to TRY COLOMBIAN COFFEE. life changed.

Literally jumping for joy because Colombian coffee is life.

While we were on our layover in Houston, United Airlines was looking for volunteers to get bumped to the next flight. After a few minutes of deliberating whether or not this was worth it to us. (We had an AirBnB lined up in Rio that night) we decided, ‘what the hell’. We would be getting $700 each in United credit, and unbeknownst to us, the next flight that they were putting us on was a first class flight!

I never drink black coffee, but that all changed in Colombia. This was the smoothest, yummiest coffee I have ever had!

The grounds of our hotel were colorful and relaxed. The vibe was exactly what we were looking for on our little stop over to Rio.

Can’t get enough. Oh, and how cute is my little monster clutch? The perfect holder for our passports and important travel docs. (currently holding our United Airlines credits!)

Colombia, we will be coming back. The small taste we got had us wanting more!!
