Doesn’t it just blow your mind on how much you can accomplish in a year? All the little places you travel to, people you meet and things you acquire in a single year sometimes just overwhelm me. It evokes conversations in our home like ‘What is all this about?’, ‘What is the meaning of life?’ You get the picture. We like reflecting. And feeling good about things we have done, accomplishments we have made, and sometimes, reluctantly, understanding our bad choices.

Our 2016 Highlights:

There were SO many! We started off the year in Christchurch, New Zealand for the Worlds Busker Fest. This city was amazing and our time there was one of a kind. Definitely recommend to travelers wanting to do something a bit more laid back yet with cultural and things to do.

Y’all know how much we love Melbourne, Australia. Anytime we get to be there for work or leisure is a good time in our books. Andy topped this trip by popping the question and stealing me forever. I couldn’t have been more surprised or happy to have my family by my side, oh and a ton of Australian news cameras recording our live proposal. Always over the top, my guy. πŸ™‚ We also got to see Adelaide for an extended period of time, and hit up Budgy headquarters in another of my favorite cities; Manly.

Rio 2016 for the Olympics was an experience we will never forget. The two of us alone in Rio was such a romantic (without your typical romance involved) trip for me. We were 100% reliant on each other for everything and we just had the best time being together, experiencing the culture, learning and growing.

A huge trip for Andy was heading to Bahrain for the Formula 1. I was so nervous, as we were going to be separated for a while and Bahrain was thought to have tough laws on crazy people like Andy. He ended up LOVING his time there and the experience humbled him for the best. So much so, that he ended up in Baku, Azerbaijan for their Formula 1 a couple months later. This guy gets a round.

I had forgotten about a bunch of little things we did this year that created fun experiences for us both. Andy traveled by himself to Kelowna, Canada for a Fan Xpo that he spoke at with Josh. This was the first time for Andy to leave me after my dad passed, and I realized just how dependent I was on him to keep me afloat in those precious days.

We both headed to Washington DC and Orlando Florida for PLAYLIST LIVE. One of our favorite times of year is heading to our Playlist family and getting to spend a creative weekend with them. We always come home inspired. Playlist Orlando is coming SOON!

Our July was spent in Alberta, Canada as we headed to small towns and villages to bring in Canada Day with the locals. I love being able to see these places that I would have never normally seen without this lifestyle. We love meeting these new and interesting people that keep small townsΒ going and thriving.

Andy had a couple of HILARIOUS viral video this year. While we were living in our townhouse in Dallas, the daily construction next door had Andy’s ideas flowing and he couldn’t help himself from creating these two videos. The workers were amazing and took it all in good fun. I love this city, and am totally convinced that one of the main reasons Andy agreed to move here for good was because of the success of these videos, so thank you, Dallas and internet viewers! πŸ™‚

Oh, and our biggest personal highlight was purchasing our first home. We are SO in love with every inch of this house, and have throughly enjoyed making it our home. Andy built an amazing deck, we created great memories, and look forward to making more. I wonder what our neighbors think of us. πŸ™‚

We love y’all and can’t wait to share more adventures in 2017!! Lets Go!
